Meg Hourihan article "What We're Doing When We Blog" does an excellent job of defining what weblogging is all about and what makes it unique and special in comparison to other web content. I've read a lot of definitions and discussions of what is weblogging, but none of which I felt nailed it until now. I particularly liked her refrain from any emotional rants while focusing on the format of weblogs rather then their the motivation and content.
