Start-up Demonstrates "Electronic Ink" Screens.

According to CNet a startup named E Ink recently demonstrated a .3 millimeter screen (the thickness of a credit card) using "electronic ink." The method does not require backlighting nor does it require additional power once its image is setup. This could really be useful in designing mobile devices with better battery life. The approximate cost the technology would add to a device was not disclosed. Sadly the technology is not expected to be available on the market till 2005. It would also seem that black and white (perhaps greyscale?) is only supported. I'm a RIM Blackberry user so I don't care really. What I would like are large eletronic ink screens that I can hang on my wall and wirelessly update the images. Then I'd care about color.
