I've always enjoy reading Adam Bosworth thoughts on Web services and hearing him speak. He needs a weblog! (Anyone with a line into him, please let him know.)
Paul Prescod points to a recent article by Adam, "One Fell Swoop," and gives his commentary. Like Paul, I agree with many of Adam's views on Web services. I find Adam to be the most rational and practical voice representing the "commercial Web services product" space. I'd be curious to learn what his thought on REST are. With his obligations to BEA perhaps he cannot.
Once again for the record, I am not a devotee of REST, but I think it makes some good observations that should be noted by the Web services community. My interest in REST is to better understand its priciples and how it contrasts and compliments SOAP et al in order to develop the best solutions with parts of both.
